Mohammed A. Siddiqui formed SSM in 2012 to help startups and established companies grow their business. Mohammed utilizes his entrepreneurial and management skills acquired in corporate America, to help clients meet their objective.

In addition to the founders 35 plus years of corporate experience, SSM boasts of another 12 plus years of program, project and partnership development expertise through the partners it has worked closely with with over the last several years.

The goal and focus of SSM is to help our customers in sales management and in finding the right partners globally. It has been SSM's experience that these are the most critical resources that any company needs to either grow organically or through acquisitions. SSM works with partner companies to enhance the knowledge needed as well as improve the global coverage that a specific customer may need. SSM and its partner companies are well versed in the cultural and business aspects of four continents.

Founder's background:

After a career in sales, service and operations leadership roles in Fortune 100 and smaller companies and working with international partners, Mohammed formed SSM In 2012 and capitalized on his global network, entrepreneurial talent, negotiation skills and analytical ability. SSM's mission is to utilize these skills to provide a world-wide market for its client's products and services.

SSM's first project in 2012 was to provide consulting services to Trinity Technologies, now a division of EMC. In the fall of 2012, SSM partnered with CPI-MS to win Chile's National ID and driver's licenses contract. Working with Casa Mode d'Chile, a government agency charted to find the best solution; SSM exercised its global contacts and selected Valid, SA Brazil as the systems integrator. The contract was awarded in 2013.

Mohammed A. Siddiqui's love of travel, both for adventure and business has taken him to 64 countries. He has used this opportunity to develop contacts with global businesses and individuals with deep experience. As an avid outdoorsman, he has summited four peaks in as many continents, is an expert skier, has trekked deserts in Mongolia, India and Africa and is a skilled skydiver. Devoted to charitable causes he has served on the Board of Health Care Without Walls an organization serving the healthcare needs of Boston's homeless women.

How we work

  1. The initial meeting focus is on an in-depth discussion of clients needs and an honest assessment of what has been tried before and why it has not yielded the desired results. This interactive dialog usually helps us hone in on those points where our expertise can fill in the gaps.
  2. We jointly determine the features and benefits that distinguish us from the competition. If additional intelligence is needed, then we will come back outlining the framework. These two sessions are complementary and we do not charge our clients for the services rendered so far.
  3. The engagement starts with a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). In this MOU the work pieces are outlined and SSM quotes the prices for each item on its statement of work (SOW). Each work component is analyzed and a completion date is assigned to it. This not only measures progress, but also helps in established deadlines.
